This years, the traditional paper flower arrangements were transformed into floral wreaths by the paper flower (kranceljpint) masters from the House of Generations. Flowers for a truly festive atmosphere that combines tradition with modernity. With their work, the masters preserve and nurture the knowledge of past generations of paper flower makers, the skills of shaping flowers from different types of paper, which were used in the past on special occasions and celebrations. It takes at least two hours of work and more than three metres of special paper to make one floral wreath. By purchasing a product, visitors support their creativity and reward the preservation of tradition. The making of paper flowers or kranceljpint is listed in the Register of Intangible Cultural Heritage and is a traditional knowledge and skill of the Laško region.
